1. Sponsor and promotion period
Sponsor: Sit By Me, Inc., 1922 N 69th Street, Wauwatosa, WI 53213 (“Sponsor”).
Promotion period: Starts at 12:00 p.m. CT on Monday, October 26, 2026. Ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on Saturday, October 31, 2026, the last day of WI Tech Month, or when 100 prizes have been awarded, whichever comes first. Sponsor’s computer clock is the official timekeeper.
Bonus: Connections made during this giveaway also count toward Sit By Me’s Brew City Sit Down Challenge for WI Tech Month. That challenge has its own prizes and rules, listed at sitbyme.co/brew-city-sit-down-challenge.
2. Who can enter
The promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older when they enter. You also need a free Sit By Me account and a public Instagram account.
Employees, officers and contractors of Sponsor, and their immediate family and household members, cannot enter.
3. How to enter
Enter at a Qualifying Event: a Milwaukee Brewers World Series watch party or a World Series home game held at American Family Field in Milwaukee during the promotion period.
- Connect. In the Sit By Me app’s Events tab, mark yourself as Attending for that Qualifying Event. While at the event, use the app to send an icebreaker or connection request to a person you did not already know.
- Post. With the other person’s permission, post a photo of the two of you on Instagram during the promotion period.
- Tag. Tag @sitbymeapp in the post.
The post must stay public until winners are announced. Each person may win once, and each Instagram account may win once. Both people in a connection may enter separately using their own accounts.
Entries made through bots, scripts, fake accounts or staged connections between people who already know each other are void.
4. How winners are chosen and notified
Winners are the first 100 eligible entries, ranked by the time the Instagram post was published. No random drawing is involved.
Prizes are released 25 per Qualifying Event. An entry counts toward the event where the connection was made. If fewer than 25 eligible entries come in for an event, the leftover prizes roll over to the next Qualifying Event. No more than 100 prizes are awarded in total. If the World Series ends before all prizes are claimed, the remaining prizes are not awarded.

Sponsor checks each entry against Sit By Me app records. The entrant must be marked Attending for the Qualifying Event in the app, and the icebreaker or connection must have been sent from the entrant’s account during that event. Ineligible entries are skipped and the next eligible entry moves up.
Winners are notified by Instagram direct message from @sitbymeapp only, with a link to claim the prize. A winner has 72 hours to complete the claim form, or the prize may go to the next eligible entry. Sponsor will never ask for payment, a password or banking details. Report any message that does.
5. Prizes
Up to 100 prizes are available. Each is one Sit By Me sweatshirt, approximate retail value $50. Total approximate retail value of all prizes is $5,000.
Sizes are subject to availability. Prizes ship free to a U.S. address within 4–6 weeks after the claim form is completed. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash or substituted, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Any taxes are the winner’s responsibility.
6. Conduct, consent and publicity
- Consent: Everyone shown in your photo must agree to be photographed, posted and tagged. Sponsor may disqualify any entry that someone in it objects to.
- Respect: Follow the venue’s rules and treat other fans with respect. Harassment, unwanted contact or misuse of the app means disqualification and may lead to account removal.
- Your content: You must own your post. By entering, you let Sponsor repost, share and display your entry in its own channels, with credit, without further payment.
- Instagram: This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta. Entrants release Instagram and Meta from all liability.
- No team or league affiliation: This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or affiliated with Major League Baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers, or American Family Field. Team and venue names are used only to describe where entries take place.
7. General conditions
- Release: By entering, you agree to these rules and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final. You release Sponsor from claims arising from the promotion or the prize, to the extent the law allows.
- Changes: If fraud, technical failure or events outside Sponsor’s control affect the promotion, Sponsor may change, suspend or end it and award prizes among eligible entries received.
- Privacy: Information you provide is used to run the promotion and deliver prizes, as described in the Sit By Me Privacy Policy.
- Governing law: These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
